Position Summary:
This position is for a Marketing Content Creation Intern who will work alongside marketing experts at our St.
Louis Headquarters. This person will create strategic content in support of multiple product lines.
Reporting to the Marketing Communications Manager, the Marketing Content Creation Intern will work closely with Carboline's Content Strategist to plan, write, edit, and publish global marketing collateral.
This is a paid, extended internship with no finite end date.
While candidates majoring in Journalism or English have historically been strong fits for Marketing Communication internships, Carboline is happy to consider candidates from all fields of study provided they can demonstrate an ability to contribute meaningfully to the Marketing Communications team.
Minimum Requirements:
Can work 30-40 hours per week from May through August, followed by a schedule established with and agreed to by the Marketing Communications Manager once classes resume.
This cycle will then repeat until college completion. Is an upcoming sophomore or junior in college who can commit to an extended internship Is a strong writer and a good verbal communicator Is willing to be edited by professionals Is intrigued by complex scientific topics Is comfortable speaking to new people and willing to learn subject matter interviewing

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Estimator supports the Panelization/Facades business by providing detailed material takeoffs, project estimates, and technical details for client inquiries.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Develop and implement processes for estimating, on-screen material takeoff, and scope reviews to provide added value to the extended sales team and client base.
Follow standard operating procedures for project estimating and manufacturing process development.
Prepare all aspects of an estimate including interpreting specifications and architectural drawings, understanding addendums, RFIs, and all other related documents that pertain to the project for bidding purposes.
Interpret the construction schedule for materials to be installed.
Compute overall costs associated with the project (material and panel fabrication) Create and maintain a database for all projects to include all job cost estimate breakdown documentation provided to the project coordination team.
Assist in the development of written text/illustrations for catalog and installation or design support literature for new product launches.
Convert AutoCAD documents to PDF, GIF, JPEG, EPS, WMF, and other file formats.
EDUCATION REQUIREMENT:
High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required Associates or Bachelors degree in commercial construction or similar preferred.
EXPERIENCE REQUIREMENT:
Minimum of two year's experience in commercial construction, exterior wall cladding, technical service or similar Ability to read and navigate construction documents and building plans is highly preferred

Carboline is seeking an Manufacturing Engineer Intern to work in Lake Charles, LA location This intern will work closely with several of our engineers and is a great opportunity for this person to gain hands on experience, become familiar with the manufacturing environments, and grow their professional network.
Requirements:
This is a paid internship where we are seeking someone who can work 30 - 40 hours per week from May through August.
Essential Functions:

Position Summary:

Assure the following shift is properly stocked with supplies and that materials are in sufficient quantities on the production floor to assure a smooth start-up. Responsible for ensuring ISO standards and procedures are followed. Review and approve time card hours in the timekeeping system by 8:30am every Monday morning. Communicate improper equipment operation or downtime to maintenance and coordinate required repairs. Perform annual evaluations and administer training for production employees. Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary. Secure and lock facility when applicable. Enforce all company policies and regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure. May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts. Perform additional duties as assigned Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent 2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
May have to occasionally travel to other facilities or training events.
Manage 2nd shift from 2pm-10pm with possible weekends when production schedules demand additional output.
Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.
Ability to use a computer for all company required processes, procedures, and trainings.

Position Summary:
Responsible for manufacturing at acceptably efficient levels, meeting production schedules, maintaining a clean and safe work environment, maintaining employee morale, and any employee relation issues.
Essential Functions:
Enforce safety regulations, investigate accidents, complete accident reports as required and eliminate potential and actual safety hazards. Maintain a complete understanding of emergency response plans in the event of spills or other similar disasters. Responsible for ensuring ISO standards and procedures are followed.
Review and approve timecard hours in the timekeeping system by 8:30am every Monday morning.
Communicate improper equipment operation or downtime to maintenance and coordinate required repairs. Perform annual evaluations and administer training for production employees. Input inventory transactions and monitor LN for accuracy. Monitor employee performance, coach, council, motivate, and discipline as necessary. Secure and lock facility when applicable. Enforce all company policies and regulations. Follow all environmental rules and regulations to ensure hazardous materials and waste are managed in an environmentally responsible manner as required by procedure. Responsible for physical inventory, directs cycle counting, and full physical inventories when required. May be required to train and certify employees on proper use of forklifts. Perform additional duties as assigned. Commit to the Company's safety and quality programs.
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalent, or 2 years Supervisory or leadership experience in a manufacturing environment.
Bachelor's degree preferred Ability to read and interpret documents such as procedure manuals, operating and maintenance manuals and safety rules.

Physical Requirements:
Occasionally lifts, carries, and moves raw materials or company products weighing up to 100+ pounds.

Primary Responsibilities: Develop Standard Work for all injection molding processes and support activities and help train leaders in each functional area. Establish and maintain internal specifications and process documentation for injection molding processes and tooling ensuring processes and procedures are clearly stated and understandable for all employees. Justify and generate capital expense proposals and manage capital projects for new machinery, automation and tooling. Drive continuous improvement in Overall Equipment Effectiveness (OEE) through team participation in tiered meetings and plant management processes to improve resource utilization, performance and quality. Work to capture and report machine cycle data across all key injection molding equipment using Industry 4.0 concepts and an internal web-based OEE software platform. Work closely with Product Development and Manufacturing to incorporate Design for Manufacturing (DFM) principals into all injection molded parts and assemblies. Oversee specification, quotation and procurement of new or modified/repaired tooling. Establish optimum machine cycle parameters for new or modified tooling and machine combinations.
