The Senior Quality Engineer will be responsible for the day-to-day management of the Quality Management System (QMS), and assigning work to and supporting the Quality Engineers.
Key Responsibilities for the Senior Quality Engineer:
- Supporting the maintenance and continual improvement of the QMS to ensure satisfaction of BS EN ISO 9001 requirements.
- Conducting internal audits to monitor operation and effectiveness of the QMS and to facilitate continual improvement.
- Ensuring that appropriate corrective actions, resulting from recorded non-conformances, are implemented and effective.
- Development of QMS elements with process-owners including process, procedure & operating instructions.
- Working closely with the Supply Chain team - Responsibility for on-site supplier assessment & approval.
Liaison with suppliers to facilitate the on-time supply of conforming materials and services from external providers resolution of issues with non-compliant product.
- Reviewing customer bids and contracts for Quality requirements and preparation of Quality Plans.
Skills & Experience required by the Senior Quality Engineer:
- Experienced in the management of a QMS within a design and manufacturing environment.
- Qualified to minimum HNC/HND or relevant equivalent; (Engineering related discipline is highly desirable).
- Experienced in managing and conducting internal and supplier audits.
- Experienced in 8D problem solving methodology within an SME and with suppliers, including use of 5-Whys and Ishikawa/Cause and effect diagrams.
- Able to create and develop clear and concise QMS elements including processes, procedures, and workflows.

Whether you are an experienced Occupational Health Advisor (OHA) or an Occupational Health Nurse (OHN), this role offers a varied and fulfilling opportunity to make a real difference to employee health across the organization.
Key Responsibilities:
Deliver proactive health services to protect and promote the physical and psychological wellbeing of employees.
Conduct health screening, health surveillance, case management, and fitness assessments.
Provide face-to-face health and wellbeing promotion, including lifestyle screenings.
Build strong working relationships with HR, Safety, and other business functions to provide expert occupational health guidance.
Lead and participate in wellbeing initiatives and regular manager training activities.
Ensure high-quality case management reports and drive improvements in service delivery.
Support the development of OH technicians and contribute to the development of new occupational health practices and systems.
Essential Qualifications and Skills:
For OH Advisor:
Proven experience in a full remit of occupational health services, including case management and health surveillance.
Excellent organizational and IT skills to meet changing business needs.
Ability to lead projects and deliver improvements in service delivery.
For OH Nurse:
NMC Registered Nurse (essential).
Experience in occupational health nursing (essential).
Skills in phlebotomy, spirometry, and audiometry (formally trained).
Travel health vaccination experience (desirable).
ECG skills (training can be provided).
Self-motivated, proactive, and able to multi-task.

Leadership and people management skills with the ability to build, motivate, develop, and improve teams
Experience of taking manufacturing operations to World Class / Operational Excellence
Experience within a fast-paced manufacturing environment, implementing continuous improvement tools and techniques, and problem-solving techniques
A seasoned manufacturing professional who understands the journey to WCM or Operational Excellence, who can work closely with key members of production and maintenance teams pushing where required, being robust with colleagues where necessary, leading from the front, but being prepared to be involved in the day-to-day activities of the shopfloor if this is necessary to achieve enhanced results.
IOSH or Nebosh qualified in Health and Safety
Ideally degree qualified or commensurate experience
