About the team
You will be joining a team that implements the Family Safeguarding Model.
During the week you will be allocated a caseload of children who require a statutory assessment or child protection investigation.
You will ensure smooth transitions for all children who may require on-going support from within the local communities or Family Intervention and Support Services.

You will need a degree in Social Work and experience within Child Protection, Children in Need or Referral & Assessment to be considered for this role.
Excellent interpersonal skills are essential to engage and motivate children, young people, and their families.
Effective assessment, analysis and planning skills and excellent direct work skill base and knowledge that can be shared with colleagues across the team is a necessity.
