We are seeking experienced Commercial Roofers to join our team.
The skilled Commercial Roofers will be responsible for the maintenance, repairs, and installation of commercial roofing systems.
$20-$33/hour (not including prevailing wage)

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Building Sciences team will participate in different projects with various scopes of work.
This position is responsible for the organization, research, and documentation of cross-departmental assignments supporting the continued growth and operations of Pure Air Control Services, a Weatherproofing Technologies, Inc.
division.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Supports the Building Sciences Project Manager with test and balance research, consultation, operations policy generation, and quality issues.
Adjust systems controls to settings recommended by the vendor, conduct measurement tests, and discuss system malfunctions with system users to isolate the problems.
Read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, schematics, and computer-generated reports.
Coordinate with multi-disciplined teams, including sales personnel and field team, to develop a scope of work and estimate the cost of a project.
Organize material and complete reports according to pre-defined standards regarding order, clarity, conciseness, style, and terminology.
Evaluate current processes and develop innovative approaches for improvement. Write and develop in-house training materials supporting the staff and franchise partners.
Contacts and communicates directly with all levels of company management, staff members, and clients.
OTHER SKILLS AND ABILITIES:
Bachelor's Degree in an Engineering field (preferred). Industry certificates are preferred but not required. Ability to obtain Engineer Intern certification preferred but not required. 3+ years of experience in the HVAC industry, including Test and Balance or Bachelor's degree in an Engineering field. Working knowledge of Heating, Ventilation, and Air Conditioning systems. Familiarity with current building, energy, and mechanical codes and standards.
Understanding of Indoor Air Quality and how it affects the building occupants.
Understanding of HVAC design principles, including heating load, air change, and ventilation requirements, and applying different HVAC systems (Constant volume, VAV, 100% OA, ERV units, etc.). Understanding of HVAC engineering fundamentals, including load calculations, conceptual systems analysis through construction documentation design, equipment design and layout, and duct and pipe sizing.
Customer service oriented. Proficient computer skills and strong technical writing skills.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, and Outlook). Well organized and possess superior management abilities to support several projects simultaneously. Self-motivated and self-directed while remaining a team player.
Ability to travel out of state up to 50% of the time.
The salary range for applicants in this position generally ranges between $60,000 and $70,000.

Stages and charges necessary raw materials into process flow tanks.
Follows batch work instructions in order to manufacture quality products. Prepares disperser and letdown tank for production, including any necessary equipment clean up. Monitors and controls high-speed disperser, mixer, pumps, flow meters and other instruments in order to make sure that a batch is produced according to work instructions. Adjust a batch, under QC guidance, until it is approved. Get batch tickets from floor supervisor and discuss with floor supervisor the best order.
Determine raw materials needed. Housekeeping - Clean up work area to 5S standards, takes out trash, participate in cycle count and inventory program. May assist in other departments such as filling, and material handling or help make sample batches Ensure work area is safe, clean and free of recognizable hazards, communicating all spills or other hazards to the shift supervisor Responsible for Dust collector cleanouts when required.

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Material Installer III leads a crew or works independently to apply coating, waterproofing, and/or air barrier materials to new residential construction (homes, condos, and multi-family projects).
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Load materials, tools, and equipment onto company vehicle and safely transport crew to the jobsite. Install each job using company-approved methods including the safe operation of a lift where necessary Understand and implement the scope of work to provide direction to the crew and move each job along at a pace that ensures efficiency and quality Communicate directly with homeowner as necessary to schedule completion of work Complete any necessary prep work for proper installation Inspect products and materials for defects prior to installation Perform quality checks after products are installed; identify and resolve any issues to ensure the job is completed to both the builder's and Tremco's scope. Ensure the work areas at the shop and jobsite are cleaned and that trash and waste are properly disposed. Complete any necessary paperwork as required for each job Comply with all company safety policies and procedures Keep timesheets up to date and accurate to include travel time, time on site, and job status Accurately report measurements and consumed materials Complete product demonstrations as requested Assist in general maintenance on installation equipment and vehicles as directed.

The Construction Manager is responsible for managing all projects (including GC and larger-scale P&R, TremCares, etc).

Pre-construction Stage:
Provides established Project Schedule. Assists the Superintendent in planning and coordinating the Pre-Construction Meeting. Conducts and processes completed Pre-Construction Meeting documentation and distributes to all applicable parties.
Construction Stage:
Daily receipt and review of Daily Inspection forms. Visits job site as necessary. Receive and review Weekly Progress Meeting Minutes, Attend or be involved via conference call.
