Job Description
City of Westminster Council requires a Child Protection Administrator to join their safeguarding team.
The role is 5 days per week and is office-based.
The role centres around diary management, arranging meetings, sending out meeting invites and drafting minutes for child protection conferences.
The successful candidate will be responsible for scheduling the conference and coordinating with various stakeholders, including social workers, healthcare professionals, legal representatives and family members.
They will ensure that all relevant parties are informed about the date, time and location of the conference.
Responsibilities
Preparing and distributing agenda items, background information and relevant documentation to participants prior to the conference
Taking minutes during the meeting and ensuring that accurate records are maintained
Providing support to the chairperson of the conference, helping to facilitate discussions and ensure that the meeting proceeds according to the agenda
Assisting participants with any logistical or administrative issues that arise during the conference
Following up on any outstanding tasks or decisions made during the meeting
Requirements
A minimum of 2 years' experience in a similar role
A degree in a related field (e.g.
social work, psychology, law)
Knowledge of child protection legislation and procedures
Experience working with vulnerable children and families
Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines

GENERAL PURPOSE OF THE JOB: The Maintenance Supervisor has the direct responsibility for leadership of the maintenance department as well as maintaining and upgrading the site facilities and production equipment.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES:
Coordinate and direct maintenance projects, making detailed plans to accomplish goals and direct the integration and implementation of technical activities. Support the HS&E, Quality and Service, and Productivity/Cost sections of the facility plan as defined by scorecard activities. Plan and direct the installation, testing, operation, maintenance, and repair of facilities and equipment. Develop KPI's to track Maintenance performance. Support capital project requirements for review and submission to management including costs, schedule, and procedures.
Direct, review, and approve product design and changes consistent with Management of Change (MOC) procedures. Analyze annual utility expenditures and develop plan to optimize efficiency and reduce costs. Perform administrative functions such as reviewing and writing reports, approving expenditures and making decisions about the purchase of materials or services. Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation and work with the maintenance crew to implement the needed preventative measures. Recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions. Demonstrate a commitment to diversity in hiring and promotion decisions. Effectively and efficiently onboard new employees. Experience working with General Contractors preferred.
An Assistant Superintendent with Stonhard is responsible for site supervision and installation of Stonhard products on projects within an assigned territory. WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR: Someone who is detailed, a hands-on project leader and a problem solver. BS Construction Management or BS Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical or Civil) and 1-2 years related experience in industrial or commercial construction/project management. Must be willing to travel and have reliable transportation.
(Daily driving approx.
20% & travel within sales region, approx.
50%).
Some weekends required. Strong communication and organizational skills and have a thorough understanding of construction safety regulations.
