Position: Country Manager
Salary: €100,000 - €110,000 gross per annum + bonus + company car
Location: Madrid or Barcelona Spain

This successful premium fitness and wellness company with incredible expansion plans, is looking for a Country Manager Based in Madrid or Barcelona. You will be responsible for leading and overseeing the strategic direction and day-to-day operations of the company in Spain.

You will play a crucial role in driving growth, optimizing processes, and ensuring the overall success of our business in the region.

About the position:

• Develop and execute a comprehensive business strategy for the Spanish market, aligning it with the company's global goals.
• Identify market trends, opportunities, and threats, and adapt the strategy accordingly.
• Establish and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including clients, partners, and government authorities.
• Ensure the efficient and effective operation of all business functions, including sales, marketing, finance, logistics, and customer service.
• Monitor and analyse key performance indicators to drive continuous improvement.
• Implement best practices and processes to enhance operational efficiency and quality.
• Build and lead a high-performing team, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence.
• Set clear objectives, provide guidance, and conduct regular performance evaluations.
• Promote professional development and training opportunities for team members.
• Develop and manage the country budget, forecasting revenue, expenses, and profitability.
• Collaborate with the global management team to evaluate and execute new market entry strategies.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in business, management, or a related field (MBA preferred).
• Proven experience in a similar leadership role, preferably with solid experience in the premium fitness and wellness or Hotel sectors
• Strong understanding of the Spanish market and business landscape.
• A broad view of how the industry works, however with a very strong focus on day to day operations
• Exceptional strategic thinking, problem-solving, and decision-making abilities.
• Outstanding interpersonal and communication skills.
• Financial acumen and budget management experience.
• Proficiency in English and Spanish, both written and spoken.
