Job Title: Executive chef
Salary: €3,500 – 4,500 per month + bonus

Are you an experienced executive chef looking for a new challenge in Amsterdam?

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced executive chef to be part of the restaurant of a cool, trendy and well-established hotel in Amsterdam.

As an executive chef, you have previous experience working at 500+ rooms hotel, high volumes and managing different outlets at the same time.

About the role:

• You will oversee the breakfast, banqueting, a bar and the Room Service
• You will be responsible for the breakfast, café and restaurant
• Responsible for creating innovative menus and efficiency in the kitchen.
• Ensure guest satisfaction by delivering a high standard of cuisine and customer service
• Achieve financial and responsible business goals
• Knowledge in all technical, human, & financial procedures.
• Factoring in business forecasts, inventory controls and Health, Safety & Hygiene
• Apply general and specialist knowledge to all the sections, outlets and concepts that you are responsible for
• Responsible for Profit & Loss statement in the areas of cost of sales and payroll.

This is you:

• Previous experience of at least 2 years as a Sous Chef or Executive/Head Chef in a high-end or lifestyle brand setting
• Previous experience in Meeting & Events and you are able to handle high volume operation
• Strong leadership and management skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities
• Have the ‘outside-of-the-box’ thinking and you looking for opportunities to push the culinary boundaries
• Understanding of budgeting and financial management
• Proficiency in English necessary, Dutch is a plus
• Passion for the hospitality industry
• Must be based in the Netherlands
