As a Car Prepper, you will play a crucial role in preparing vehicles for painting, ensuring they meet high-quality standards.

Key Responsibilities Of The Body shop Prepper

, Preparation of Surfaces: Prepare vehicle surfaces by cleaning, sanding, and applying appropriate coatings to achieve a smooth and even finish.

, Masking and Taping: Skillfully mask and tape areas that should not be painted to protect them from overspray.

, Quality Inspection: Conduct thorough inspections of prepared surfaces to ensure they meet quality standards and specifications.

, Collaboration: Work closely with the painting team to ensure seamless coordination in the preparation and painting processes.

, Adherence to Safety Guidelines: Strictly adhere to safety protocols and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment.

Requirements of the Bodyshop Prepper:

, Proven experience as a Car Prepper or similar role.

, Strong attention to detail and precision in work.

, Ability to use relevant tools and equipment for preparation tasks.

, Knowledge of different coating materials and application techniques.

, Good communication skills and the ability to work well within a team.
