My client a leading engineering company in the heart of Poole are expanding their workforce and are now looking for Test technicians to join their team 

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES of a test techician:

- Inspection and test of electronic assemblies to IPC-A-610 standards.
- Inspection and test of electrical sub-assemblies to IPC-A-620 standards.
- Inspection and test of electro-mechanical sub-assemblies to supplied drawings.

- To provide test and product support for production activities with a ‘hands on approach’, to include initial commissioning, factory and site acceptance tests.
- To assist Goods Inward inspection department as required.
- Working on customer premises (UK and overseas) from time to time.
- Accurate completion of documentation.

PERSONNEL REQUIREMENTS

- SC clearance.
- Test and fault finding to component level.
- Ability to solder in accordance with IPC certification standards.
- Ability to read technical drawings.
- Experience in manufacturing in a similar demanding industry.
- Ability to combine existing knowledge with new impacts for positive changes combined with good Communication skills.
