Yard Operative

Tudor Employment Agency are currently recruiting for a Yard Operative to work for our prestigious client in Solihull, B92.

Our client has over 40 years of experience in producing and supplying a range of high-quality livestock bedding primarily for three key sectors - Poultry, Dairy, and Equestrian.

Duties to include:

• Operate machinery and plant equipment in accordance with operator training directives
• Carry out general production operator duties, including quality checks
• Carry out statutory checks and report defects
• Ensure on site house-keeping standards are always maintained
• Accurate completion and handling of relevant paperwork
• Safe use of FLT and other mobile plant
• Observe site safety rules and guidance
• On the job training provided

Skills:

• On the job training provided
• Good awareness of safe working practices and a positive attitude to H & S
• Reliable, with a “can-do” attitude
• Good communications skills

Hours of Work: Monday to Saturday (1 day off in the week)

Pay rate:

• £11.50 per hour
• £17.25 per hour for Saturdays and BH working
• £20.13 per hour for Sundays
• Shift Allowance paid depending on hours worked
