CNC Turner Salary: £28k-30k

 

The Company

Operating within a niche area of the industry, this small, multifunctioning machine shop is looking for an aspiring CNC Turner to join its close-knit team.

As their new CNC Turner, you’ll be working with stainless steel and brass to machine components to single-digit micron tolerances, then deburr, finish & assemble to help get the final product out the door to cope with their steady order book.

 

CNC Turner Role & Responsibilities

- Set & operate CNC lathes
- Comfortable using Fanuc or Siemens controls
- Experience with driven tooling is desirable but not essential
- Versatility will be essential as you’ll be covering multiple bases within the company while working in a close-knit team
- Deburring, finishing & assembling components
- Working from technical drawings
- This is an excellent opportunity for any aspiring CNC Turner to learn from time-served machinists and improve their skills
- On the job training will be provided
- Flexible working hours with an early finish on a Friday
- Overtime paid at standard rate
- Discretionary bonus scheme
