Job Title: Regional Engineer
Location: Amsterdam, Netherlands
Salary: €2,200 - €2,800 gross per month

This well known, cool and authentic hotel in Amsterdam has a magnificent opportunity for a Regional Engineer.

This property has been host of prestigious guests and it has been a leader in the Amsterdam hotel market for many years.

As a Regional Engineer you are responsible managing all aspects of maintenance activities daily, across the different locations in the Netherlands.

About the position

• Carrying out routine checks of equipment, including HVAC and electrical
• Responsible for the overall maintenance of the building
• Experiences with carrying out mechanical maintenance, from heaters, ventilation, coolers, AC, etc.
  
  Managing requests promptly, helpfully, politely and with a caring attitude is your top priority.
• Maintain a focus on safety of guests and colleagues.
• You will need to travel to the different locations in the Netherlands

The successful candidate

• Previous experiences in similar position in a hotel is a plus
• Bachelor's degree in the relevant engineering field
• You're flexible in working hours & days and don't mind to periodically do standby shifts
• A sound understanding of engineering principles.
• Ability to maintain a positive attitude and restore morale to a team.
• Have a very hands on approach
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• English required, Dutch is a plus
