Job Title: Human Resources Manager
Location: Venice, Italy
Salary: €60,000 - €80,000 gross per annum

The hotel has a blend of old-world charm and modern luxury, giving their guests not only a great experience during the visit but also the best view and atmosphere

As a human resources manager you will play an important role in fostering a positive workplace culture and supporting the professional growth of their employees.

This position is ideal for an experienced HR professional who excels in talent management, employee relations, and HR strategy.

If you speak English and Italian and are looking relocating back to Italy that is also a possibility!

About the position

• Lead recruitment efforts to attract top-tier talent.
• Develop and implement innovative strategies to source and select candidates.
• Conduct interviews and collaborate with department heads to ensure a cohesive team.
• Implement programs to enhance employee engagement and satisfaction.
• Identify training needs and coordinate development and benefit programs.
• Facilitate training sessions to enhance skills and ensure a high level of service.
• Develop and update HR policies to align with legal requirements and industry standards.
• Ensure compliance with labour laws and regulations.
• Conduct regular audits to maintain HR data accuracy.
• Provide guidance on goal-setting, feedback, and career development.
• Address performance issues proactively and collaboratively.
• Collaborate on wellness initiatives to promote a healthy and balanced lifestyle.
• Uphold the hotel's unique blend of old-world charm and modern luxury.

This is you

• Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field.
• Previous experience in a luxury or high end Hotel or in the Hospitality industry
• Proven experience in human resources management, with a strong understanding of HR principles and best practices.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• Strong communication skills (verbal and written) in Italian and English
• Recruitment and talent acquisition expertise
• Employee relations and conflict resolution experience
• HR strategy alignment with organizational goals
• Training and development knowledge
• Compliance with labor laws and regulations
• Strategic thinking and data-driven decision-making
• Leadership and team management skills
• High ethical standards and confidentiality
