Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks

This is an exciting opportunity for a Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks to support a well-known distributor and manufacturer of electronic components, at their offices in Berkshire.

This role has an indicative OUTSIDE IR35 determination therefore we can accept candidates who would like to operate through their own PSC.

Our customer designs and develops electronic components in the UK and sell them around the world.

They serve a range of industries including medical, aerospace and transportation across a mix of businesses, from smaller start ups to global companies.

You will provide support on 2 projects at concept stage and will manage the transition into full production.

The role offers flexibility to work on a hybrid basis.

Key Skills required - Contract Mechanical Design Engineer - Solidworks, Berkshire:

- Strong experience of using Solidworks for 3D design and simulations

- Experience designing to FEA and stress analysis requirements as well as conducting FEA and stress analysis

- Proven experience working on products from concept to delivery
