Salary Range | M1 Inner London (£34, 514) - UPS3 Inner London (£43,685)

Teach Plus are currently working with a 2-form entry, ‘Outstanding' Independent school located in Ealing, who are seeking a dedicated and passionate Year 1 Teacher to join them from September.

The role is a full-time ongoing position to start in September for at least one academic year.

As this is maternity cover, the role is short-term.

As a Year 1 Teacher you will be expected to:

• Prepare and deliver engaging and effective lessons that align with the National Curriculum and cater to the diverse needs of Year 1 students.


• Plan and deliver lessons in line with the Primary Year 1 National Curriculum


• Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment that fosters student engagement, respect, and a love for learning.


• Tailor teaching methods and materials to meet the individual needs and learning styles of students, including those with special educational needs (SEN) and English as an Additional Language (EAL).


• Work collaboratively with colleagues, including teaching assistants and other staff members, to plan and deliver cohesive and effective educational experiences.


• Implement effective phonics programs to support early literacy development and help students develop strong reading and writing skills.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Strong knowledge of the Primary National Curriculum


• Experience teaching within Year 1 students


• A strong work ethic who is willing to commit.


• UK recognized Teaching Qualification with QTS


• Enhanced DBS Certificate with the Update Service


• Right to work in the UK
