We are seeking a Weighbridge Operator on a temporary basis paying upto £16.00 p/h, working Monday to Friday days position, at a market-leading international manufacturing organisation, based in Doveholes Quarry Crica £35,000pa

Weighbridge Operator Position Overview:

Weighbridge Operator Main Duties/ Responsibilities:

• Check delivery drivers have the necessary qualifications, have been inducted for site and have the necessary PPE


• Confirm drivers know where and how to deliver their load


• Record deliveries of Raw Materials and Fuels over the weighbridge


• Despatching of some outbound materials over the weighbridge


• Manage vehicles on-site through close communication with the control room and haulier planners


• Be the single point of contact for delivery drivers if there are any issues on site


• Occasional driver inductions to be carried out.

Weighbridge Operator Experience / Qualifications:

• Previous experience of working in a weighbridge is desirable, but training will be given


• Knowledge of Excel desirable


• Total commitment to Health & Safety Standards


• Good communication skills (Firm but fair)


• Flexible, reliable, and enthusiastic


• Ability to work well under pressure at times.

In return, the Weighbridge Operator will receive:

• Weekly pay upto £16 p/h
