ServiceNow ITSM Configuration Manager A

We are currently seeking a talented ServiceNow ITSM Configuration Manager on behalf of our client.

This key role involves managing the heart of their ITSM framework – the Configuration Management Database (CMDB).

As the Configuration Manager, you will develop and adapt configuration management processes, to ensure they are seamlessly integrated and adhered to across the client’s global IT infrastructure.

Key Responsibilities:


  • CMDB Management: Oversee daily operations related to configuration management, ensuring a robust and accurate CMDB.
  • Process Improvement: Continuously update and enhance CMDB data, spearheading projects aimed at improving configuration management practices.
  • Performance Metrics: Establish and monitor KPIs for the CMDB, providing regular reports on performance metrics.
  • Stakeholder Engagement: Serve as the configuration management representative in dealings with internal and external stakeholders, including partners.
  • Training and Support: Deliver training and support on configuration management processes to the internal team.
  • Process Enhancement: Drive the development and enhancement of processes surrounding configuration management.

Qualifications:


  • ITSM Expertise: Advanced ITIL certification or significant Lean/Six Sigma certification (advanced level) is required.
  • ServiceNow Proficiency: Extensive hands-on experience with ServiceNow CMDB and related modules.
  • Regulatory Knowledge: Familiarity with regulated environments (e.g., GxP, CSV) and related IT quality standards.
  • Service Management Acumen: Comprehensive experience in defining and managing SLAs, KPIs, and contract-relevant service management issues.
  • Communication Skills: Fluency in English is essential (proficiency in German is a plus), with the ability to build strong, trust-based relationships with global colleagues and stakeholders.

Excellent Market rates payable.  6 months contract with possible extensions.
