Residential Property Legal Assistant

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of a London Borough Council who are seeking a Residential Property Legal Assistant to join their team on a contract basis.

ROLE: Residential Property Legal Assistant
LOCATION: South London
RATE: £16.00 to £19.00ph
CONTRACT: 6 months with possibility of extension

Please note that this role would require office attendance 1 or 2 days per week.

The Role

• To support a team of in-house Residential Property Lawyers across the council


• Matters will include acquisitions, disposals, lease extensions, variation of restrictive covenant, new developments and plot sales

The Person

• A law-related qualified or qualification by relevant experience would be essential


• Experience of working with residential property / conveyancing files would be essential for this position


• Previous working experience within a local authority would be highly beneficial for this role
