We have a permanent opportunity for an experienced Despatch Team Leader to join our client in Poole, you will be working within a large business where no 2 days are the same! 

You will be a leading a very busy and successful logistics team, distributing products globally by coordinating the team and ensuring you keep accurate records throughout the process. 

This position is working Monday to Friday on a day shift with a salary of £25-30,000 DOE

Key responsibilities for the successful Despatch Team Leader:

- Ensure products are packed correctly and according to customer specifications 
- Monitoring and tracking performance and output 
- Ensuring work orders are followed accordingly to ensure delivery schedules are met 
- Updating internal/ external stakeholders with any issues effecting delivery plans 
- Stock and inventory control 
- Using MRP/ERP's as well as freight databases 
- Identifying and selecting appropriate packaging methods 
- Cross checking documentation against packaging products 
- Final check of goods before despacthed to customer 

To be considered for this Logistics Despatch Team Leader:

- Despatch experience is essential & proven experience of Leading a team
- Experience dispatching goods globally would be advantageous  
- Strong computer and administration experience especially MRP/ ERP and Microsoft Excel 
- Excellent organisation skills and ability to self motivate 
- Ability to drive a team to deliver
