Glazier

A Glazier is required in a well-established Glazing and Curtain Walling company based in West Midlands.

Contract Duration: Permanent position
Rate: £36,000 per annum
Start Date: Immediate start
Location: Based in West Midlands and covers surrounding areas
Working Hours:

• Site Hours: Contracted 40 hours per week


• Daily Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM with 1-hour lunch break


• Weekend/Overtime: Weekend work available, paid at job rate (minimum £150 per job), overtime paid at 1.5x rate, call-outs on a rota basis

Responsibilities:

• Glazing: Installation and replacement of glass in various settings such as windows, doors, and architectural features.


• Framework: Construction and installation of supporting frameworks and structures for glazing projects.


• Boarding: Temporary and permanent boarding up of windows and other openings for security purposes.

Key Requirements:

• Ability to work early starts as required by project demands.


• Experience in glazing, framework construction, and boarding techniques.


• Flexibility to work weekends and participate in on-call duties as per rota.


• Capability to handle physical demands of the job including lifting and working at heights.

Qualifications Required:

• IPAF Certification


• CSCS Certification


• PASMA Certification
