Job Description:

We are seeking a skilled and enthusiastic Food Technician to join the Technology department at a well-established secondary school on the Wirral.

As a Food Technician, you will be responsible for supporting the teaching of food technology and cookery skills to students across all year groups.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the preparation, cooking, and presentation of food


• Maintain high standards of hygiene, health and safety, and food safety


• Prepare equipment and resources


• Maintain accurate records of stock levels, inventory, and cleaning schedules


• Collaborate with the catering team to plan accordingly

Requirements:

• Relevant experience as a Food Technician or similar role


• Good communication and organisational skills


• Food Safety Level 2 certification
