Teacher of English

Integra Education are currently working in partnership with an Ofsted rated Good secondary specialist school in Skelmersdale.

The school are looking to recruit a dynamic and engaging English Teacher to join them on a temporary basis.

This role has the potential to become a permanent position for the right candidate.

The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching English to pupils with SEMH needs.

You will adapt the curriculum and instructional strategies to meet the individual needs of students with diverse learning profiles, ensuring that all students have the opportunity to engage with and succeed in their education.

Requirements:

• Relevant UK recognised teaching qualification (QTS, PGCE) with English Specialism.


• Experience supporting pupils with additional needs.


• Strong behavioural management strategies.


• Excellent communication, collaboration, and problem-solving skills.


• Compassion, patience, and a genuine desire to make a positive difference in the lives of students with special educational needs.


• Enhanced DBS on the update service or willingness to obtain one.
