Part-Time Accountant

Role: Part-Time Accountant
Location: Near Tunbridge Wells
Hours: 25 hours (Flexible)
Contract: FTC 6-month contract
Salary: £33,497 Pro Rata

We are currently working with a highly regarded grammar school based near Tunbridge Wells.

They are looking for a qualified Accountant on a part-time 6-month fixed term contract, who has the experience to take on the full range of duties the role requires.

Role Duties:

- Prepare monthly reconciliations of bank statements
- Input data of all receipts paid by BACs and direct credit
- VAT returns
- Sign off all expenditures and monitor budgets
- Calculate and input monthly accruals
- Review figures and investigate anomalies
- Prepare all year-end reports for Auditors

Job Requirements:

- Qualified Accountant (AAT, ACCA, CIMA, ACA or equivalent)
- Qualified to degree level or equivalent
- Strong financial ability and expertise
- Extensive knowledge/understanding of financial regulations and legislation
- Experience in a similar role
