Key Responsibilities of the SHE Manager:
They are seeking an experienced and dedicated SHE Manager to join their team.

The successful candidate will support the business in meeting its Safety, Health, and Environmental (SHE) needs and regulations, ensuring high standards of compliance, and fostering a culture of safety throughout the organisation.

• Establish and maintain SHE legislation in line with requirements for occupational safety.


• Assist with preparations for environmental and waste management audits.


• Collaborate with stakeholders to promote a positive safety culture.


• Develop risk assessments and standard operating procedures (SOPs).


• Maintain licenses to operate and any legally required permits.


• Ensure compliance with environmental, health, and safety legislation.


• Promote and facilitate a continuously improving safety culture and SHE performance.

Qualifications and Requirements for the SHE Manager:

• Minimum of a NEBOSH Certificate.


• Degree qualified in a relevant field.


• Minimum of 5 years manufacturing experience (chemical industry preferred).


• Good working knowledge of environmental and ISO audit standards.


• Strong understanding of SHE legislation and requirements.


• Previous leadership experience is essential.
