Secondary Teacher

Integra Education are currently working in partnership with a specialist SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health) school in Trafford.

The school are looking to recruit and experienced and dedicated Teacher to deliver lessons in Maths and English.

This will initially be a full-time temporary position but has the opportunity to become permanent for the right candidate.

Duties:

• Plan and deliver engaging lessons in accordance with the national curriculum


• Create a positive learning environment that encourages student participation and progress


• Implement effective behaviour management strategies to maintain a productive classroom environment


• Assess student progress through assignments, tests, and examinations


• Collaborate with colleagues to develop educational programmes and initiatives

Qualifications:

• Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent teaching qualification


• Proven experience teaching English and Maths at secondary level


• SEMH experience or training is highly desirable


• Strong communication skills to engage with students, parents, and colleagues effectively


• Ability to educate and inspire students from diverse backgrounds


• Excellent organisational skills to plan lessons and manage classroom activities efficiently
