Senior Childcare Lawyer

Service Care Legal are seeking a Senior Lawyer (Children & Families Legal) on behalf of local authority in Greater Manchester.

The successful candidate will be responsible for holding a complex caseload of private law matters, including Judicial review.

ROLE: Senior Lawyer (Children & Families Legal)
RATE: £45-£50 per hour
BASED: Manchester - Hybrid working
CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 Months ongoing

Responsibilities

• Hold a complex caseload of private law matters, including Judicial review


• Attend remote hearings in connection with private law matters dealing with emergency matters on the CFLG duty rota


• Manage the central inbox for private law matters


• Provide assistance and supervision to other members of the private law team

Requirements

• Qualified Solicitor or Barrister with at least 5 years PQE


• Experience in private law matters, including Judicial review


• Experience in attending remote hearings in connection with private law matters dealing with emergency matters on the CFLG duty rota
