Service Care Solutions are working with an established client to bring an exciting opportunity for an experienced and dynamic Occupational Therapists to join the team on a permanent basis.

Join one of the UK's Leading Mental Health Charities for Veterans and provide support for former servicemen and women who deal with issues such as PTSD, Anxiety and Depression.



Salary: £37,057 - £44,761 per annum dependent on experience + £250 Welcome Bonus
Location: Belfast, Northern Ireland BT1 2LD
Hours: 37.5hrs
Essential:

• HCPC Registration


• Occupational Therapist Qualification


• Experience working with Adults who have been through Traumatic events/suffer from mental health

Job Summary:

• Conducting assessments and completion of occupational case formulation to guide treatment and delivered through individual and groupwork interventions.


• Responsible for empowering veterans to engage fully in meaningful occupations that matters to them and support their participation in life situations.


• Perform interventions will be based on enabling them to make choices, building resilience and include the use of coping strategies based on sensory interventions.


• Be part of a unique and cutting-edge service that is truly interdisciplinary and influence occupational therapy input with this unique client group.


• Add to the research and evidence-base of the effectiveness and impact of occupational therapy with veterans.


• Receive training in sensory-informed treatment for trauma as well as occupational case formulation.

Job Benefits:

  After 5 years continuous service, this will increase to 30 days paid holiday + bank holidays and after 10 years continuous service, this will increase to 33 days paid holiday + bank holidays
