CNC Miller – Overview:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced CNC Miller to join our client who are experiencing extremely exciting times, recently taking on a 10 year contract for a worldwide leading Aviation company.

The successful candidate will have a strong background in CNC milling and programming, particularly with Hypermill software and 5-axis machines.

This is an opportunity to work in a dynamic and innovative manufacturing environment where precision and attention to detail are paramount.

 

CNC Miller – Requirements:

- Proven experience as a CNC Miller Programmer, with expertise in Hypermill software
- Proficiency in setting up and operating 5-axis CNC milling machines
- Strong understanding of machining principles, tooling selection, and fixture design
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and engineering specifications.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a meticulous attention to detail

 

CNC Miller – Responsibilities:

- Use Hypermill software to program CNC milling machines, ensuring efficient and accurate toolpaths.
- Set up and operate CNC milling machines to produce high precision components.
- Work to tight tolerances and quality standards to deliver products that meet or exceed customer expectations.
- Collaborate with the engineering and production teams to optimize manufacturing processes and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.
- Adhere to safety protocols and maintain a clean and organized work environment.

 

CNC Miller - Salary & Benefits:

- £40,000 - £50,000
- 25 days holiday + 8 days bank holiday
- Pension
- Overtime
