Class 1 HGV Driver and Hiab Operator

Service Care Solutions have a fantastic opportunity for a Class 1 HGV Driver with Hiab to join a client I am representing in Rugby, Warwickshire on a permanent basis.

The role will involve:

• Loading, unloading and transporting Construction plant equipment and site accommodation


• Loading and securing each load in compliance with the required regulation.


• Carrying out and completing delivery and collection checks on each load ensuring all aspects of the load are captured.


• Daily vehicle checks and inspections on the allocated vehicle reporting any defects to the transport manager immediately ensuring constant compliance in line with regulations and company standards.


• Upkeep, light maintenance and housekeeping of your allocated vehicle, and supporting the team when not out delivering with other duties as and when requested.

Working hours will be Monday to Thursday 7.30 am to 5.30 and till 5.15 on Friday

Requirements for this role:

• A Clean Class 1 license


• Hiab License ALLMI


• Experience in abnormal loads, loading, securing and transporting of plant equipment


• NPORS or CPCS Loader Securer advantageous


• Excellent communication skills.


• Good attention to detail.


• Good initiative.


• Good time management.


• Good organisational skills.

This is a Full-time opportunity working 39 hours per week plus guaranteed 7 hours overtime included in above hours
