Property Solicitor

Service Care Legal are currently working alongside a local authority, based in Staffordshire, which is in need of a Property Solicitor to join their team.

In this role, you will provide expert legal advice and representation on a wide range of property-related matters.

This role requires a strong understanding of property law and a proactive approach to legal challenges.

ROLE: Property Solicitor

LOCATION: Staffordshire - occasional office attendance

RATE: £50-£55ph

CONTRACT LENGTH: 3 months ongoing

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide comprehensive legal advice on a variety of property transactions e.g.
  
  lease renewals, land disposals, land swap/transfers, deeds of release, discharge of covenants, easements/adoption, new lettings/surrenders, ad hoc property advice e.g.
  
  rent arrears/possession etc.


• Draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to property transactions.


• Represent the council in property-related negotiations and legal proceedings.

The Person

• Qualified solicitor with a current practising certificate.


• Significant experience in property law, ideally within a public sector or local authority setting.


• Have strong drafting and negotiation skills.
