Wireperson Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wireperson to join our team in the Fareham area.

The ideal candidate will have experience working on complex electrical assemblies and will be responsible for planning the layout of electrical wiring, diagnosing electrical problems, and conducting general electrical maintenance.

Wireperson Responsibilities

- Assembling, installing, and maintaining electrical systems and components
- Reading and interpreting blueprints, diagrams, and schematics
- Planning the layout of electrical wiring
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting electrical problems
- Conducting general electrical maintenance
- Ensuring all work is carried out in accordance with relevant health and safety regulations

Wireperson Qualifications

- Proven experience as a Wireman or similar role
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Knowledge of electrical systems and components
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Excellent attention to detail
- Relevant certification or vocational training
- Strong commitment to diversity, equality, and inclusion in the workplace

Wireperson Day-to-Day

- Collaborating with the engineering and production teams to ensure the successful completion of projects
- Following safety protocols and regulations to maintain a safe work environment
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality
- Participating in training and development opportunities to expand skills and knowledge
- Embracing and promoting a diverse and inclusive work culture
