TOUR BOOKER - THEATRE PRODUCTION

THE OPPORTUNITY:

Get Recruited are recruiting on behalf of a well established theatre and entertainment production company.

As the Tour Booker you will take full responsibility for scheduling and booking all touring productions.

This role is a great opportunity for someone who has experience within theatre production, theatre bookings or worked for a theatre/venue.

If you have experience as a Tour Booker, Venue Booker, Tour Programmer, Bookings Executive, Bookings Manager, Programmer within the Theatre Production, Film Production TV Production, Theatre Industry then apply!

THE ROLE:

• Book and schedule all touring productions in the UK and Internationally.


• Negotiate with venues which includes scheduling tour dates, financial deals and contractual terms.


• Must have strong attention to detail and be organised to achieve best dates for each production.


• Work closely with internal and external partners maintaining and building new strong relationships.


• Liaise closely with producers, production, venues, and marketing department.


• Be the main point of contact for venues, ensuring administration is delivered timely and efficiently.


• You will line manage the programming associate to ensure admin duties delivered.


• Keep up to date with market trends.


• Attend productions and press nights when required.

THE PERSON:

• Must come from a theatre background, whether you have booking experience within theatre production or worked at a theatre.
  
  You need to understand how production works and the logistics behind it.


• Strong attention to detail


• Excellent communication and negotiation skills


• Very strong organisation skills - Plan and manage time effectively


• Having an interest in theatre is a big bonus!
