We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Mechanical Fitter to join our client in Poole .

The successful candidate will be responsible for assembling,  and maintaining machinery and mechanical equipment.

Responsibilities:

- Read and interpret engineering drawings to assemble mechanical equipment and machinery
- Measure and ensure high levels of accuracy and precision in the assembly process
- Install and align components according to specifications
- Troubleshoot and repair mechanical failures or malfunctions
- Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure smooth production processes
- Adhere to safety and quality standards at all times

Qualifications:

- Proven experience as a Mechanical Fitter or similar role
- Proficiency in reading and interpreting engineering drawings
- Strong understanding of mechanical assembly techniques and high-tolerance measurements
- Ability to work independently and in a team environment
- Excellent attention to detail and problem-solving skills
- Certification or training in mechanical fitting is a plus

Day-to-Day

- Review engineering drawings and gather necessary components for assembly
- Assemble and install mechanical equipment, ensuring accuracy and precision
- Collaborate with colleagues to troubleshoot and resolve mechanical issues
- Maintain a clean and organised work environment
- Adhere to safety regulations and quality standards throughout the assembly process
