Adult Social Care Paralegal

Service Care Legal are currently recruiting on behalf of the Local Authority based in Greater Manchester.

This is an excellent opportunity for an enthusiastic Paralegal to join the in-house legal team within the Legal Safeguarding Team you will primarily work in the area of Adult Social care and/or Education.

Role: Adult Social Care Paralegal/Legal Assistant

Location: Greater Manchester - Hybrid Working

Rate: £17.00 - £20.00PH

Contract Length: 3 Months Ongoing

Responsibilities

• You will be a key member of the Adult Social Care Legal team.


• Team skills and the ability to interpret legislation in a common sense and practical manner, having due regard to the Council's legal responsibilities


• The post involves provision of significant levels of support to the Legal Services Manager, solicitors and social work clients.

About You

• Great communication skills, written and oral.


• Having a high level of attention to detail


• Strong IT Skills


• Able to Assist Solicitors with caseloads


• Experience of working in a Social Care Legal team, ideally in a local authority
