Office Operations Manager

Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a knack for keeping things running smoothly?



Our client is a Civil Engineering and Groundworks contractor looking for a highly organised and motivated Office Operations Manager to join our growing team.




About You:



  • Minimum of 3 years' experience in a similar office management role, ideally in construction industry.

  • Excellent organisational and administrative skills with a keen eye for detail.

  • Proficient in MS Office and comfortable using specific software (a plus).

  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations within construction, PPE etc.

  • Clear and concise communicator with the ability to build strong relationships with colleagues, clients and suppliers.

  • Proactive, excellent problem-solving skills and can prioritise multiple tasks effectively.



What you will do:



  • Manage the day-to-day running of the office, ensuring its smooth and efficient operation.

  • Oversee all aspects of office administration

  • Managing all Plant Hire requirements

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date company records and databases.

  • Organising labour requirements for client projects

  • Manage incoming calls and emails, prioritising enquiries and ensuring timely responses.

  • Liaise with clients, suppliers and subcontractors.

  • Coordinate health and safety procedures.
