Our partner is seeking a highly skilled Full Stack Software Engineer - Contract on a 6-month contract to lead the design, development, and maintenance of high-quality software solutions.

This opportunity offers hybrid working.

Key Responsibilities for the Full Stack Software Engineer - Contract:

- Design, develop, and maintain scalable and efficient backend services using Java, Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.

- Architect and develop responsive and interactive user interfaces with React.
- Design, manage, and optimise SQL databases for high performance and data integrity.
- Utilise Hibernate and Spring Data JPA for efficient interaction with SQL databases.
- Implement and manage containerised applications using Kubernetes.
- Develop, maintain, and optimise CI/CD pipelines to expedite the software delivery process.
- Partner with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deliver new features.
- Ensure application performance, quality, and responsiveness.
- Troubleshoot and debug issues across the entire software stack, demonstrating expert-level problem-solving skills.
- Champion best practices for code management using Git.

 Key Skills & Experience Required by the Full Stack Software Engineer - Contract:

- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
- 5+ years of experience in full-stack development.
- Proficiency in Java for backend development, with strong experience in Spring, Spring Boot, and Spring Data JPA.
- Extensive experience with React and modern frontend development practices.
- Hands-on experience with Kubernetes and container orchestration.
- Strong understanding of CI/CD concepts and tools such as GitLab CI.
- Proficiency with SQL databases and data management.
- Proficiency with Hibernate and Spring Data JPA.
- Proficiency with Git and version control workflows.
- Experience working in an Agile/SCRUM environment.
