An opportunity has arisen for an experienced Press Brake Operator to join a well-established engineering business in the Wakefield area on a permanent basis, 4 day working week Monday to Thursday 6am to 4.30pm, with an hourly rate of £15.00 per hour along with regular overtime, ongoing training and development and free parking.

Duties of the Press Brake Operator:

• Setting and Operating Press Brake machines.


• Programming from scratch


• Liaising with other areas of the fabrication department to ensure work is completed accordingly.


• Be quick to identify critical information and react accordingly.


• Efficient at communicating through all levels of an organisation.

Press Brake Operator Attributes:

• Working knowledge of using Press Brake machines and current software packages.


• Ability to understand technical drawings and apply technical information.


• Experience of working on an Bystronic press brake machine would be beneficial.
