Job Overview:

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Supervisor to lead and coordinate our electrical engineering and maintenance team at our Rugby facility.

As a key member of the engineering management team, you will be responsible for prioritizing workloads, delegating tasks, and ensuring that all electrical maintenance work is carried out efficiently and safely.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Supervision & Coordination: Oversee and manage the day-to-day activities of the electrical maintenance team, ensuring that tasks are completed to a high standard and within deadlines.

  • Workload Management: Prioritize and delegate tasks to the maintenance team based on operational needs and urgent requirements.

  • Health & Safety Compliance: Conduct systematic checks and ensure that all work complies with health and safety regulations.

  • Team Leadership: Provide guidance, support, and training to a team of maintenance technicians, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.

  • Continuous Improvement: Work closely with the engineering management team to develop and implement strategies for improving maintenance processes and equipment reliability.


Qualifications and Experience:

  • Educational Background: Completion of an Electrical Engineering apprenticeship or a Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering.

  • Supervisory Experience: Proven experience in a supervisory or team leader role within an electrical engineering or maintenance environment.

  • Health & Safety: A health and safety qualification is desirable but not essential.

  • Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of electrical engineering practices and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues.
