The Cloud Engineering Director | Mobile Networks is a strategic, senior-level leadership role that is responsible for a DevOps team (up to 100FTE), focused on cutting-edge technology in the network cloud space, with a significant emphasis on mobile technology.

Niche tech stack experience: Familiarity with Canonical, Openstack (preferable) or similar tech stacks (e.g.

Suse, Red Hat) is required.

Experience Required:

• Operational experience with running hyperconverged infrastructure platforms.


• Desired: Experience with Canonical, OpenStack, enterprise-scale Kubernetes deployments.


• Building high-performing teams.


• Working with £ multi-million £budgets.


• Stakeholder Management: Managing tough stakeholders, particularly in the mobile technology space


• Go-to-Market Experience: Experience in productising and monetising network cloud solutions is necessary


• Familiarity with Mobile Technology: Ability to steer projects related to mobile technology within the team's scope but telco is not a necessity.


• Understanding of Network Cloud: The role involves resurrecting a business case to monetise network cloud solutions, requiring a comprehensive understanding of the field.


• Significant experience in Technology leadership, with extensive stakeholder engagement and people leadership experience.


• Proven experience developing product roadmaps, aligning with business objectives with a focus on internal and external customer experience.


• An aptitude for challenging the status quo to ensure continuous improvement with creative solutions.


• A proactive approach and a ‘can do' attitude highlighted with a passion to deliver exceptional customer service.
