Vehicle Technician – Worcestershire – Main Dealership - Up to £37,000

Our client, a prominent main dealership in Worcestershire, is seeking an experienced Vehicle Technician to join their thriving Service Department.

Position: Vehicle Technician
Location: Worcestershire
Salary: Up to £37,000 + bonus 

Benefits:

- Competitive Salary: Up to £37,000 + performance-related bonus - up to £10,000 extra
- Work Schedule: Monday to Friday - NO WEEKEND WORK 
- Working Hours: 42.5 Hour week
- Holiday Entitlement: 25 days annual leave + bank holidays

Key Responsibilities: 

- Diagnose and fix vehicle faults using diagnostic equipment and a systematic approach.
- Meet with customers to understand and address their problems.
- Stay updated on new vehicle technology and repair techniques.
- Perform diagnosis, repairs, and servicing to the highest standards.
- Follow safe working practices for yourself and others.
- Consult colleagues and supervisors for complex issues.
- Use diagnostic equipment and road testing to ensure quality work.
- Complete service documentation according to warranty and dealership requirements.
- Maintain workshop housekeeping standards and proper use of tools.
- Collaborate with colleagues to provide excellent customer service and share best

- Perform maintenance, service, and repair activities on motor vehicles to the highest standard.
Execute all tasks efficiently and effectively as a Vehicle Mechanic/Car Mechanic.

 
Minimum Requirements:

- Qualifications: NVQ Level 3 (or equivalent)
- Experience: Minimum of 5 years post-qualification experience in a dealership setting as a Vehicle Technician/Car Mechanic (or similar)
- License: Valid Driving License required; MOT license preferred but not essential
