Health & Safety Officer

Service Care Solutions is seeking a Health & Safety Officer for a local authority in Ashford.

You will support the Safety & Wellbeing Manager in delivering the corporate health and safety strategy and providing expert advice to all levels of the organization.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide professional health and safety advice and guidance.


• Support the administration of accidents and incidents on digital systems.


• Respond to health and safety service requests, FOI requests, and complaints.


• Conduct monitoring, investigations, training, and audits to improve safety performance.


• Assist managers with risk assessments and ensure they are robust and communicated effectively.

Requirements:

• Diploma or equivalent in health and safety.


• Experience in a health and safety environment.


• Good knowledge of health and safety legislation.
