Support Worker
Support Worker required to support in a SEN College for 19-25 year olds with Cerebral Palsy and additional complex needs based near Horsham.
Temporary to Permanent Opportunity.
About the role:
You will be working in a college setting supporting young adults with complex medical needs and Cerebral Palsy.
In your working day you will be supporting the students with transitional life skills to help them develop after their school years.
You will support the students with fundamental skills like cooking, shopping and even going to forest school.
About you:
A successful candidate will have experience working with young people or adults with complex medical needs and severe disabilities.
You will have to be open to engaging 1-1 with the young adults and furthermore building a relationship with them.
Pay starting from £11.69 per hour PAYE and £15.22 per hour Umbrella
Requirements for you as the Support Worker:
- Experience in Support Work or SEN
- Self-motivated individual with clear communication skills
- Enhanced Child and Adults DBS
- Be able to travel near Horsham in your own vehicle.
Shift Times:
- Monday - Friday
- 08:30-15:30
- Term time only
