Assistant Maintenance Manager, Amsterdam, €3,000 - €3,500 per month

A prestigious hotel in the heart of Amsterdam is seeking an Assistant Maintenance Manager to ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of our luxury property.

This role is ideal for a candidate with a background in hotel maintenance, excellent communication skills in Dutch, and the ability to learn quickly and manage a small team.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintenance Operations:


• Ensure the seamless operation and maintenance of all technical systems within the hotel.
• Respond promptly to technical issues and service requests, ensuring minimal disruption to guests.
• Collaborate with various departments to support the overall functioning of the hotel.
• Maintain detailed records of all maintenance activities, ensuring compliance with safety and security standards.


• Team Management:


• Lead a team of four maintenance professionals, who were previously contractors and are now integrated in-house.
• Work closely with the Director of Rooms and the Maintenance Manager to ensure that all maintenance tasks are completed efficiently and to the highest standard.

Qualifications:

Must-Haves:

• 3-5 years of experience in hotel maintenance.
• Proficiency in Dutch at a B2 level for all communication.

Desired:

• Experience in managing a team, particularly in a 4-star hotel environment.
• Familiarity with safety and security protocols, as well as knowledge of social hygiene regulations.
• Eager to grow with the company and learn.
