As our Janitor you are to is to assistin the duties of Facilities Maintenance by performing heavy cleaning and routine maintenance of the facility in a safe, consistent and efficient manner

Here's what you can expect every day:

  • Service, clean or supply restrooms, break rooms and meeting areas.
  • Clean building floors by sweeping, mopping, scrubbing or vacuuming.
  • Clean building surfaces such as windows, blinds, walls, doors tables and counters.
  • Clean equipment such as microwaves, refrigerators, vending machines.
  • Gather and empty trash.
  • Follow procedures for the use of chemical cleaners and power equipment to prevent damage to floors and fixtures.
  • Mix water and detergents or acids in containers to prepare cleaning solutions, according to specifications.
  • Remove snow and/or pre-treat sidewalks in wintery conditions.
  • Perform minor repairs.
  • Keep cleaning supplies in stock.
