Wireperson 

We are seeking a Wireperson to join our team at a reputable defence company.

As a Wireperson, you will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical wiring and systems in military equipment and facilities.

Wireperson Responsibilities

- Install, repair, and maintain electrical wiring and systems in military equipment and facilities
- Inspect electrical components to identify and troubleshoot issues
- Follow technical drawings and blueprints to ensure accurate installation
- Comply with safety standards and protocols at all times
- Collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to ensure effective electrical systems

Qualifications

- Proven experience as a wireperson, preferably within the defense or aerospace industry
- Knowledge of electrical systems and wiring techniques
- Ability to interpret technical drawings and blueprints
- Strong attention to detail and commitment to safety
- Certification in electrical work is a plus

Day-to-Day

- Assemble, install, and test electrical wiring and systems
- Collaborate with team members to ensure timely completion of projects
- Adhere to safety regulations and guidelines at all times
- Troubleshoot and repair electrical issues as they arise
- Communicate effectively with supervisors and colleagues
