The role will be responsible for the design, development, coding, customisation, implementation, integration & maintenance of various & complex solutions within the Salesforce platform.

This will include a major focus on Service Cloud & custom implementations.

If you have experience of Salesforce development using Salesforce, Apex, VF Visualforce, VSCode, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Service Cloud, REST, SOAP, APIs etc.

Position: Software Engineer, Developer, Application Developer, Software Design, Architecture, Architect, Salesforce Developer

Purpose: Design, develop, implement, integrate & maintain complex Service Cloud & custom implementations for the Salesforce platform, to ensure seamless integration & communication between different systems, applications & services whilst maintaining operational management & security of the platform.

Technology: Salesforce, Apex, VF Visualforce, VSCode, Lightning Web Components, SOQL, Service Cloud, REST, SOAP, APIs etc

Certification: Certification in any of the following would be useful, but is not essential: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Administrator

Location: Fully remote! Anywhere UK.

Nature: Permanent, Full Time

Hours: Monday - Friday 09.00 -17.30

Salary: £65,000 - £72,000 basic + 20% bonus & comprehensive benefits

Overview:

The role will provide a robust technical resource to support the expansion of functionality & further customisation of the Salesforce platform.



You'll play a critical role in the design, development, coding, implementation, integration & maintenance of various & complex solutions within the Salesforce platform.

This will include a major focus on Service Cloud & custom implementations.

As a Senior member of the Engineering Chapter, you'll work collaboratively with other cross-functional teams, including other Developers, Administrators, Software Engineers, Product Owner, BA's & QA's etc.

to design, develop, build, maintain & enhance the capability & functionality as the Salesforce platform, which underpins the delivery of all customer service interactions.



Responsibilities:

, Collaboration with stakeholders throughout SDLC

, Collaborate with business analysts & stakeholders to gather & document requirements for Salesforce solutions.

, Translate user stories into actionable software within the Salesforce environment

, Collaborate with solution architects & development teams to create scalable Salesforce solutions

, Design, develop & implement Salesforce solutions

, Write reusable, testable & efficient code in line with best practices

, Develop & maintain custom applications on the Salesforce platform using Apex & Visualforce etc.

, Design & implement solutions for Service Cloud, including case management, knowledge base & customer support processes

, Troubleshoot integration issues to ensure smooth communication between systems

, Create technical documentation, including user guides, release notes, & design documents

, Troubleshoot & fix bugs, ensuring the stability & functionality of the application.

, Participate in code reviews & mentor junior developers.

, Stay up to date with Salesforce best practices, new features, & industry trends.

, Work closely with cross-functional teams & stakeholders to deliver high-quality solutions that meet business requirements.

Candidate Profile:

Candidates should possess similar experience in the development of Salesforce solutions.

Your skillset & experience is likely to include some of the following:

, Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

, Hands-on experience developing on the Salesforce platform

, Proficiency in Salesforce APIs, Apex, Visualforce, Lightning Web Components, SOQL

, Service Cloud, including case management & knowledge base

, Custom integrations using REST/SOAP APIs

, Salesforce data model, security, & sharing settings

, Excellent problem-solving skills & ability to work independently

, Effective communication & collaboration skills

, Certification in any of the following would be useful, but is not essential: Salesforce Certified Platform Developer I, Salesforce Certified Platform Developer II, Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, Salesforce Certified Administrator
