Location: Kohler, WI

Salary: $65,000 - $75,000

My client, a luxury resort hotel in Kohler, Wisconsin, is seeking a Banquet Sous Chef.

This role involves assisting in the management of banquet operations, ensuring high culinary standards, and contributing to the prestigious dining experience.

Responsibilities:


  • Supervise the culinary team of the dining outlet  
  • Assist with creating menu recipes, creating specials, and completion of inventory orders 
  • Run the line, and entire kitchen in the absence of the Chef 
  • Lead the charge on all standards, train employees on standards and menus, recipes, and cooking procedures 
  • Cater to large-scale events for guest

Ideal Banquet Sous Chef:


  • Must have at least 2-3 years of Sous Chef (or higher) experience
  • At least 2 years experience in Banquet operations preferred within a 5 star hotel
  • Possess great communication skills and experience in using/working with a computer  
  • A sincere willingness to provide service to residents, guests, and peers
  • Good organizational skills, with the ability to work independently
