We have an exciting opportunity for a commercial vehicle Quality Inspector based at our body building workshop in Derby.

Reporting to Design & Compliance Manager, the successful candidate will be responsible for the co-ordination and administration of quality and compliance inspections, type approvals and IVA compliance, ensuring that all legal obligations are met prior to delivery of vehicle to the end user

Successful Quality Inspector must have:

• Experience in a similar QC environment and role, ideally in relation to vehicle manufacturing or similar


• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills, with the ability to prioritise workload and be proactive in decision making


• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously


• Ability to communicate well with other team members


• Demonstrate commitment, reliability and good time-keeping


• Current Driving Licence, valid in the UK

Key responsibilities of the Quality Inspector include:

• Undertaking receiving inspections on all vehicles, as they are delivered to site, and completing corresponding administration.


• Completing computerised inspection sheets with vehicle specification details.


• Administration of compliance documentation (Stage 2 CoC's) for VCA (Vehicle Certificate Agency)
