My Client who is a leading manufacturer within their field is seeking and experienced Stock Controller / Materials Controller to join their team due to continued expansion.

Stock Controller Requirements:

• Experience using an MRP system within a manufacturing or warehousing environment
• Self-motivated and results oriented
• Excellent organisational skills
• Sound judgement and problem-solving capabilities with the ability to remain calm under pressure and make effective decisions
• Proven written and verbal communication skills, and the ability to communicate at all levels within and outside the organisation
• Good working knowledge of Microsoft packages

Stock Controller Duties:

• Ensure timely delivery of components to complete the production program
• Ensure that inventory objectives are met by ensuring just-in-time delivery
• Ensure that transport costs are optimized by adapting Supply Units, delivery frequencies and controlling exceptional transport operations
• Ensure that Plant costs are optimized by adapting plans and adjusting for different scenarios.
• Ensure good communication and relationship with production teams.
