A leading Lancaster independent pharmacy is now looking for a Pharmacist to join the team on a locum basis.

The pharmacy is well-established in the area and conveniently located just a stone’s throw from local amenities, primary care services, and public transport links, and therefore is the pharmacy of choice for many.

As a Locum Pharmacist, you’ll support a strong and skilled team of fellow Pharmacists, Technicians and Dispensers during a period of staff absence or high demand, maintaining efficient and effective pharmacy care.

The team currently dispenses around 9,000 - 10,000 items per month and you’ll also help with the provision of additional services (NHS and private) including Pharmacy First, travel clinic services, emergency contraception and more; the team is keen to begin offering flu and Covid jabs shortly as well.

This is a Locum Pharmacist position within a community pharmacy setting.

Person specification:

• (Essential) MPharm degree, OSPAP qualification or equivalent
• (Essential) GPhC registration as a Pharmacist
